It’s been a long time since WWE has taped an episode of Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden in New York City, but that’s all going to change when the red brand takes over MSG on September 9.
Ahead of Raw’s return to Madison Square Garden it’s been announced that WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be appearing on the show.
The official Madison Square Garden Twitter account made the announcement and pointed out that it will be Austin’s first MSG appearance in almost 20 years.
Steve Austin commented on the big news when he posted the following:
“I cannot believe it has been so long. Time flies by. The Garden is home to many of my favorite moments in my career. @BretHart in #survivorseries @undertaker in #summerslam #highwaytohell and stunning @VinceMcMahon for the very first time. Along with many others. Hell Yeah!”
