We’re only a few weeks away from the annual SummerSlam pay-per-view, and it looks like this year’s event could be getting a huge dose of star power.
John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is set to be part of SummerSlam this year, and that she’ll be wrestling Charlotte Flair.
This will be the first time that Trish Stratus has wrestled since she teamed up with Lita to face Mickie James and Alicia Fox at the Evolution PPV back in October of 2018.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet was the first to report that Trish and WWE were in talks, and Charlotte planted a seed for the match this week on SmackDown Live when she referred to herself as the “Queen of All Eras.”
