The Nationwide Arena in Columbus Ohio will host WWE Fastlane next year on March 11th, but the main event might have already been revealed for the big show in the Buckeye State.
It’s important to always remember that these main events are announced to bring people the building and drive ticket sales, so everything is subject to change. But if WWE really goes with the main event that they’re promoting on the Nationwide Arena’s website then fans are in for something really big from the Blue Brand on the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania.
At this time, the official Nationwide Arena’s website is listing a huge fatal five-way for the WWE Championship to close out the big go-home PPV on the Road To WrestleMania.
The WWE Fastlane main event is being promoted with a fatal five-way between AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, and Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship.
There could be a lot of things to happen in the meantime in order for that match to become a reality, so only time will tell what is going to happen as we head toward the big show. But the SmackDown Live brand seems to have some really big things ahead as they roll into 2018.
Other people promoted to appear at the event are Dolph Ziggler, Charlotte Flair, Bobby Roode, Baron Corbin, The Usos, New Day and of course, there will be more as well.
It is always important to note that the website does include the infamous “card subject to change” line at the bottom of the page so who knows what is going to happen. But it certainly appears that we have a pretty good clue at this point.
