How WWE Officials Are Reacting To Competition From All In, NJPW And ROH

The game has certainly changed over the last few weeks. For many years WWE has had a stronghold on the wrestling market, but two events have shown that there’s room for other people to succeed as well.

All In sold out in 30 minutes, and the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden is said to be 60% sold out just from the pre-sale alone.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the competition is getting stronger than WWE officials would like.

WWE is reportedly becoming very aggressive when it comes to taking top independent talents off the board.

The company recently did a complete 180 on Matt Riddle, and WWE officials are said to be looking at Fenix, Pentagon Jr. and Shane Strickland.

The ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard is expected to sell out, and if it sells out immediately then the market value of the key guys involved with the show will go way up, because WWE will want those names for the NXT event which is set to take place at the Barclays Center on the same night.

There are a number of key names, such as The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, whose contracts are set to expire before the G1 Supercard at MSG.
