Whether you love him or hate him, it’s clear that WWE officials want to push Roman Reigns as the face of the company, and there’s not much that fans can do to stop that.
Roman has found major success at WrestleMania, and he’s wrestled in the main event on the Grandest Stage of Them All for 3 years in a row.
This year Roman Reigns is set to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in New Orleans on Sunday, April 8, and if Roman vs. Brock does indeed close the show, then Roman could potentially make history.
WWE.com recently posted an article looking at 34 fun facts about WrestleMania, and the article points out that Roman has tied John Cena and The Rock by wrestling in 3 consecutive WrestleMania main events. If he wrestles in the main event this year, he will tie Hulk Hogan’s record with 4 consecutive WrestleMania main events.
Roman’s WrestleMania career shows no signs of slowing down, so if he does tie Hogan’s record this year it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see him go on and set a new record at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
