Over the last few years Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have really managed to grow their respective brands, and fans have been wondering if they could end up in WWE in 2019.
However, it seems that they have other plans, and Cody Rhodes recently claimed that he turnd down an offer from WWE.
The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and Adam Page recently parted ways with ROH, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that three of the four previously aforementioned names turned down multi-year deals with WWE which were worth more than 7 figures annually.
It’s also being said that no one in wrestling could have conceived that type of offer being made, let alone turned down as recently as a year ago.
It was also noted that without the success off All In, and the idea of the wealthy Khan family potentially backing All Elite Wrestling, they likely would have gotten big offers, but not offers at that level.
The fact that the offers were turned down seems to indicate that they think of All Elite Wrestling as more than just an idea.
