In the summer of 2015, Elijah Mainville signed a contract in the middle of the ring after Raw and he became a honorary WWE Superstar. Elijah adopted the name Drax Shadow, and his favorite wrestler, Stardust, celebrated with him in the ring after the contract was signed.

In 2010 Elijah was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer but unfortunately he lost the fight against the disease on Sunday night.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Elijah Mainville’s family, and all proceeds will go to paying for his funeral. The page has almost reached its $10,000 goal, and if you would like to donate you can do so by clicking here.

Cody Rhodes had a special connection with Elijah Mainville thanks to the fact that Stardust was his favorite wrestler, and Cody took to Twitter to thank Elijah for having a positive impact on his life.

  1. My gitlfriend’s daughter has a rare type of cancer and is only 12. They have to remove her liver for her to stand a chance but haven’t had a matching donor. You feel bad when you see this on TV but it’s different when it’s close. Still, I can only imagine what Elijah’s family is going through. Even sending prayers changes when they didn’t help him get better. I can only wish for them to go forward and remember their son for all the good he brought them.
