Saturday night was not a good night for CM Punk. He faced Mickey Gall in his MMA debut at UFC 203 and Mickey Gall made short work of him.
Unfortunately for Punk, he got beat up at UFC 203, but it’s not all bad. He may have gotten beat up, but Punk also got paid a lot of money to get beat up, so it’s true what they say, every cloud does have a silver lining.
According to the Ohio State Athletic Commission CM Punk was paid $500,000 for his fight with Mickey Gall at UFC 203. Mickey Gall was paid $15,000 for the fight, and he also received another $15,000 for winning.
CM Punk also made another $2,500 from a Reebok sponsorship. Punk was the third highest paid fighter on the UFC 203 card behind Alistair Overeem who made $800,000, and Stipe Miocic who was paid $600,000.
