It’s been an interesting year for Heath Slater. At one point Slater was the leader of the Social Outcasts, but Heath later found himself out of a job when he was passed over in the draft.
In the weeks that followed the WWE draft Heath Slater kept popping up on Raw and SmackDown Live as he tried to get himself a contract with one of the brands. It was tough times for Heath because of the fact that he has seven kids, and a “very nice” above ground pool to pay for.
Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon gave Heath Slater a chance to enter the SmackDown Live tag team tournament, and Slater seized the opportunity. Heath and Rhyno went on to become the first ever SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and Heath also scored himself a SmackDown contract.
Heath Slater’s luck is definitely turning around, and he hit a major personal milestone today. Slater took to Twitter to let the world know that his above ground pool is finally done.
Congratulations to Heath Slater and the Slater family.
