WWE confirmed earlier today that John Cena would be bringing the U.S. Open Challenge back on Raw. Now WWE has posted a video on their Facebook page featuring Rich Brennan interviewing Heath Slater who says that he will be answering John Cena’s challenge tonight. Slater hasn’t had much luck trying to challenge Cena in the past but, who knows, luck might be on his side tonight.
Slater has been a popular topic on social media today as fans have dubbed today #HeathSlaterAppreciationDay. It looks like their voice have been heard as Slater will be stepping up to challenge for the gold tonight. Whether he will actually make it into the ring to participate in a match however remains to be seen.
