The wrestling world unfortunately lost another legend today as it was confirmed that Sika Anoa’i has passed away at the age of 79. Sika achieved success in WWE as one half of The Wild Samoans alongside his brother Afa. Together they managed to become three time WWE Tag Team Champions and were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.

Sika is also the father of Roman Reigns and Rosey. He made an impactful appearance on WWE programming back in 2020 as Roman Reigns was becoming The Tribal Chief when he and Afa presented Reigns with the Ula Fala after he defeated his cousin Jey Uso.

Jahrus Anoa’i officially announced the news on Tuesday and posted the following statement on social media:

“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of Former Hall of Famer, Polaivao Leati Sika Anoa’i. He passed away peacefully on June 25th.
