Over the last few years LA Knight has become one of the stars to watch in WWE. At one point Knight was one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster, but at least one Hall of Famer seems to believe that the Megastar’s popularity is starting to cool down.
During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about LA Knight’s character and shared his take when he said, “He’s snarky, he’s a wise-a**. So it’s kind of hard to love somebody that comes off that way, right?”
Earlier this week LA Knight teamed up with Jimmy Uso to take on the team of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on Monday Night Raw. While talking about the match Bully Ray went on to explain that he thinks LA Knight’s connection with the fans is lacking.
“Every time they screamed, ‘Yeah,’ it got a little less loud. It’s more about them screaming the word, and then the pop starts to die. I still believe that the emotional connection between LA Knight and the fanbase is lacking.”
LA Knight does not currently have a match scheduled for the WrestlePalooza premium live event this weekend. However, he has been involved in a storyline with Jey Uso in recent weeks, so it will be interesting to see if he gets involved when The Usos take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at the event.
