Last month the Royal Rumble aired live from Tropicana Field and the show kicked off WrestleMania season in a big way. Bayley won the women’s Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes won the men’s Royal Rumble, and a Hall of Famer was in the house as it all went down.
Recently DDP spoke to Sportskeeda’s Bill Apter about his experience at the Royal Rumble last month, and he noted that he briefly crossed paths with Triple H.
“I don’t really play those things, like, ‘If I was doing it, I would do it this way,’ because I think Triple H has done an unbelievable job of storytelling. I said to him last night [at the Royal Rumble], I got a chance to see him just half a minute, but always the classiest guy in the room. I just gave him a big hug and said, ‘Man, great Rumble, bro.'”
Following the Royal Rumble it’s been determined that Cody Rhodes will be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania while Bayley will be challenging Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship.
