Shortly after he arrived in NXT Karrion Kross became a force to be reckoned with, and he dominated the competition with Scarlett by his side. Fans expected big things for Kross when he joined the main roster, but that wasn’t the case.
Karrion Kross was called up earlier this year, without Scarlett by his side, and WWE made changes to his gimmick while he struggled to find his place on the Raw brand. The changes to Karrion’s gimmick weren’t well received, but one way or another his run with WWE is over now as the company released him on Thursday.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley commented on WWE releasing Karrion Kross and Scarlett, and he noted that now they will be able to work as a duo again when he posted the following:
“So @WWEKarrionKross & @Lady_Scarlett13 get to be a duo again – and whoever picks them up has one of the hottest acts in the biz. Unfortunately, it seems @WWE is sometimes intent on trying to reinvent the wheel.”
