There are several groups on the WWE main roster at the moment and Alpha Academy seems to be one of the groups that’s been picking up momentum in recent weeks. Maxxine Dupri has become a welcome addition to the group and it looks like Road Dogg has another name in mind for Alpha Academy.
During a recent episode of his Oh You Didn’t Know? podcast the WWE Hall of Famer praised Shelton Benjamin while talking about the possibility of Benjamin being added to Alpha Academy.
“Shelton Benjamin to me is an awesome addition to any team. He is one of those unsung heroes in this industry. He came up with the Brock Lesnar’s of the world, but Brock got the shot and not him. He doesn’t have a huge personality. But I think what he has in athleticism and presence, and every time I see him his arms get bigger.”
Over the last few years Shelton Benjamin has been teaming up with Cedric Alexander, but the team has seemingly been lost in the shuffle ever since The Hurt Business broke up, so moving in a new direction might not be a bad move for Shelton Benjamin.
