For some time now The Bloodline story has been one of the most talked about storylines in all of wrestling and business has picked up in recent weeks. The group has been falling apart since Sami Zayn turned on The Bloodline at the Royal Rumble and Sami is currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber.
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently discussed The Bloodline storyline on his 83 Weeks podcast and he explained why he feels the story is better than the story that was told with the NWO.
“The truth is The Bloodline story, in terms of a storyline in and the ingredients and the elements and the discipline and the structure and the nature of it, is a far better story than the NWO. Will it have the same impact on the industry as the NWO did? Probably not. But, that has a lot to do with timing. There are so many things that made the NWO work, including Hulk Hogan turning heel, by the way. There were so many things that were just a moment in time that helped propel that storyline at that, that time that you can’t replicate that today.”
Which storyline do you think is better? Sound off in the comments below.
