During the opening match of AEW Dynamite this week Jay Lethal defeated Darby Allin with the Lethal Injection in a one on one match. After the match a man in a Sting mask walked in through the crowd and entered the ring.
The man hugged Jay Lethal, Sanjay Dutt and Satnam Singh as he and revealed himself to be Cole Carter. The heels then attacked Darby Allin as the lights went out and Sting’s music hit.
As the heels were looking on waiting for Sting, a man in a black hat and a black coat got into the ring with a guitar. He hit Darby Allin with the guitar and then the mysterious man was revealed to be none other than Jeff Jarrett.
Jeff told Darby that Sting has become his weakness, then he sent a message to the locker room and the fans who he called delusional. The Hall of Famer listed his accomplishments as the fans chanted, “You still suck!” He said his family has been in the business for 75 years and they’ve made an impact before adding that their fingerprints are all over AEW. Jarrett said when he’s done with this place there will be full body bags.
