The Dudley Boyz have done just about all there is to do in the world of tag team wrestling, and on Friday, April 6, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. They’re set to be inducted by another legendary tag team, as WWE has confirmed Edge and Christian will be inducting The Dudleys during the ceremony.
Fans will be seeing a lot of familiar faces at the Hall of Fame ceremony this year as Goldberg, Hillbilly Jim, Ivory, Kid Rock, Jeff Jarrett and Mark Henry are also set to be inducted.
The Usos have been on a roll ever since they turned heel, and they’re the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The brothers recently spoke to the Pensacola-News Journal about their heel turn, and they noted that it’s worked well because it allows them to be more real.
“The heel change would have never worked if that baby face phase didn’t go as long as it did. The heel change just made it more real. We get to be us, we could talk the way we want to, dress the way we want to, it was like the ball was in our court now. And it took a lot of hard work to finally get the ball, you feel me?”
