This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Madison Square Garden and the show featured the return of Gunther. During the episode Paul Heyman made his way out into the ring and said that he tried to give the fans Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar tonight, but Adam Pearce prevented it from happening. Pearce then made his way out into the arena and asked him if he’s checked his email today.

Heyman said there’s nothing Adam Pearce can tell him that he doesn’t already know. Pearce informed him that the Boston police department has dropped all charges against Seth Rollins. Heyman told Pearce that he fears no man as he’s the last manager standing from the 1980s and the last promoter standing from the 1990s.

Adam Pearce continued and told Paul Heyman that as of this very second Seth Rollins is medically cleared to compete. Heyman looked shocked as Seth’s music hit. The Visionary entered the ring and hit Heyman with a steel chair from behind.

Rollins placed Heyman’s head on the chair and set up for the Curb Stomp, but Gunther pulled him out of the ring and put him in a sleeper. Gunther placed Rollins on the announce table and put him to sleep. Gunther then held Seth’s face up and pointed at the WrestleMania sign.

After he attacked Seth, Gunther walked to the backstage area by himself while Paul Heyman recovered in the ring. Shortly after Adam Pearce was interviewed backstage and he officially confirmed that Seth Rollins will face Gunther at WrestleMania 42.
