The Great Khali Returns At WWE Battleground

Jinder Mahal shocked the world when he defeated Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career at Backlash a few months ago. Since then Randy Orton and Jinder have been making each other miserable on SmackDown Live, and on Sunday night the current WWE Champion defended his title against Randy in a Punjabi Prison match.

Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal went to war in the Punjabi Prison match, and Orton was clearly at a disadvantage because Mahal had the Singh Brothers on his side. Randy had to battle all three men, and at one point one of the Singh Brothers fell from the outside of the structure through the announce table after he was punched in the face by Orton.

Orton used weapons to take out Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers, and then he tried to climb the second structure. It looked like Orton was going to make it out, but then The Great Khali’s music hit. Khali came down to the cage and started shaking it until Orton fell down a couple of rungs, then he started choking Orton until he passed out. Jinder Mahal then climbed over the cage and celebrated with Great Khali to end the show.
