It’s been a while since Goldberg has wrestled a match inside a WWE ring as he last competed when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber back in January. Unfortunately for Goldberg it was Roman Reigns who picked up the win that night and it seems that Goldberg still has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to The Tribal Chief.
During an appearance on the Roman Atwood Podcast, Goldberg compared his spear with Roman’s spear and he made it clear that he thinks his approach to the move is better.
“I’ll just be honest, Roman said how stupid it is to go out and hit people hard. Well, if you hit people hard and not hurt them, blur that line, I think it’s pretty smart. Plus, I don’t look like a, no offense, girl when I tackle people.”
Goldberg recently revealed that he has two months left on his WWE contract. There’s currently no word on if the company plans to sign him to a new deal or bring him back for another match in the future. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
