Goldberg last stepped into the ring at WrestleMania 33 where he defended the Universal Title against Brock Lesnar, and in the end it was The Beast who walked out with the gold.
The following year Goldberg was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he’s set to get back in the ring at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia next month.
The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion’s opponent has yet to be confirmed for the event, but it seems that he’s taking his training pretty seriously, as he recently posted the following on Instagram:
“3 weeks out…… Best way to describe the final push is like shoving an elephant into a thimble! #whosnext #spear #jackhammer #aintdoneyet #devestationcontinues @wwe #runningoutoftime #notmessingaround #muaythai #wrestling @dodgeofficial #mayorofmuscleville 🎅🏼 #imback #oldschoolgoldberg 👊”
WWE Super ShowDown will take place from the King Abdullah International Stadium on Friday, June 7 and it will air live on the WWE Network.
