Goldberg Shares His Honest Opinion Of Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle had a big night on Sunday when he won the NXT Tag Team Titles with Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Portland, but Riddle has been stirring up controversy on social media.

The NXT star hasn’t been shy about calling out big names like Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, but his outspoken nature doesn’t seem to be winning either one of them over.

Goldberg recently appeared on the Total Slam podcast, and he held nothing back when he compared Matt Riddle to a booger.

“Riddle is like a booger stuck in your nose; he is annoying and won’t go away. He has no influence on Goldberg’s life. Period. End of story. It’s the wrestling business and sometimes when you’re out in public you may run into a former foe and you can never know how the situation will turn out. It is what it is, and we don’t see eye to eye.”

Goldberg and Matt Riddle had a tense altercation backstage at SummerSlam last year, but it was recently reported that WWE officials feel there’s a “lack of understanding of politics” when it comes to Riddle trying to start feuds with names like Goldberg and Lesnar without going to them first.
