After 12 long years away from the WWE, Goldberg will finally be making his return to the ring when he faces off against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. The WWE has changed quite a bit since the last time Goldberg wrestled a match, and one of the stars that’s on top now is none other than Seth Rollins.
During an appearance on ESPN First Take back in August, Seth Rollins was asked if he would be interested in facing off against Goldberg if he ever came out of retirement. Rollins took a shot at Goldberg’s age, and responded by saying Goldberg doesn’t have what it takes to hang with him.
“I would fight Goldberg any day of the week. Bring Goldberg back, I will take him on, anytime. I am a young buck, I am a young stallion. No offense to Goldberg, but his day has come and gone. I’m saying it, Goldberg’s past his prime, and he can’t hang with me, bottom line. That’s what I’m saying.”
Goldberg recently appeared on ESPN First Take and he got his chance to respond to Seth Rollins’ remarks, and he didn’t hold anything back.
“Hell no I’m not past my prime. Rollins is just trying to get a little rub, it’s gonna put him in the hospital man. So, he better pray to god that after I beat Brock, that I don’t have anymore in me, because his head will be served on a platter.”
