Goldberg Says He’s Coming To Raw Next Week, Cruiserweight Title Match Announced

Paul Heyman made his way to the ring on Raw this week, and he issued a challenge to Goldberg on behalf of his client Brock Lesnar.

Shortly after the announcement was made the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion took to Twitter to say that he will be making an appearance on Raw next week, and he plans to answer Brock Lesnar’s challenge. WWE also confirmed via Twitter that he will be appearing on Raw next week.

Goldberg has not appeared on WWE programming since 2004 when he wrestled at WrestleMania 20. He faced Brock Lesnar, and he defeated Lesnar in his last match. It’s been rumored that WWE is planning for the former World Champion to face off against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.

TJ Perkins confronted Brian Kendrick backstage this week on Raw and he tried to make peace with him. Kendrick tried to hit Perkins with a cheap shot, but unfortunately that didn’t work out for him. Perkins got the upper hand and stood tall to end the segment.

WWE announced on Raw this week that TJ Perkins will defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Brian Kendrick at Hell in a Cell on October 30.
