The NFL held their biggest game of the year over the weekend when Super Bowl LVII aired live and Rihanna had the honor of performing during the halftime show Rihanna’s performance got a lot of people talking, but WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg made it clear during a recent episode of the CarCast podcast that he did not enjoy it at all.
“I thought Rihanna was fricken horrible. I was disgusted by it, let’s just say that,” Goldberg said during the podcast. Goldberg’s co-host Matt D’Andria voiced his opinion while saying that he thought the show was kind of boring and Goldberg responded by saying, “That’s the understatement of the year. I thought it was disgusting. I thought it was horrible.”
While talking about Chris Stapleton’s performance of the National Anthem the former Universal Champion added, “He didn’t grab his crotch every 15 seconds” or “make it about himself.”
Goldberg last competed in a WWE ring last year when he was defeated by Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. Goldberg has confirmed that he plans to wrestle again, but it’s not clear when or where that will happen as his contract with WWE expired in December of 2022. Stay tuned for updates.
