Goldberg made his triumphant return to wrestling when he defeated Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in 2016 and he’s taken on a number of big names since then.
It’s been a while since Goldberg has stepped into the ring as he last competed when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber back in February. Unfortunately for Goldberg he didn’t walk away with the gold as he was defeated by The Tribal Chief.
However, it doesn’t seem that Goldberg’s in-ring career is over as he recently confirmed to Max Kellerman of ESPN 92.9 that he plans to wrestle again at some point.
Back in October, Goldberg revealed that his WWE contract was set to expire in two months. It’s not clear at this point in time if WWE has plans to sign him to a new deal. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
