3 Game Changing WWE Promos

People often blame WWE creative when one of their favorite wrestlers gets stuck in the mid-card
or kicked off TV. Where sometimes it can be creative’s fault it often falls on the superstar to find a way to make themselves indispensable. Some superstars are handed things but the great ones just take what they want. These promos are some examples of WWE superstars taking the mic and making you pay attention.

Austin 3:16

The birth of Stone Cold Steve Austin came when he defeated Jake “The Snake” Roberts to become the King of the Ring and basically ushered in an era of attitude. Sit back and relive the birth AUSTIN 3:16!

PIPE BOMB

When CM Punk walked up the ramp and sat down at the top of the entrance way you could see the look in his eye that this promo was going to be different. Wearing the Stone Cold shirt was the perfect touch because he was about to have his “Austin 3:16” moment. On a side note, the craziest part of this is that R-Truth defeated John Cena right before the now infamous pipe pomb was dropped. Punk’s contract was coming to an end but not before his championship match against John Cena in the Second City Saint’s hometown of Chicago. Punk had his opportunity to air out all his grievances without any fear of repercussions.

RAW IS JERICHO

Perhaps one of the most anticipated debuts of all time was none other than Chris Jericho debuting on RAW. The countdown was a great way to build up the hype and when it finally struck zero the crowd was at a fever pitch. Not only because Jericho was standing at the top of the ramp but also because “The Great One” The Rock was standing in the middle of the ring. What followed the end of the countdown was pure gold.
