Gail Kim Tells WWE To “Wake Up” Following Botch On Raw

This week on Monday Night Raw, The IIconics defended their Women’s Tag Team Titles against The Kabuki Warriors, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville in a fatal four way elimination match. As The Kabuki Warriors were making their entrance, a graphic was shown at the bottom of the screen which incorrectly showed the Twitter handle for Io Shirai instead of Kairi Sane.

The botch of course got a lot of people talking on social media, and it caught the attention of former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim.

Gail Kim commented on the photo on Twitter and she told WWE to “wake up” and “stop wasting” their Asian female wrestlers.

“Wow….. so sad when they have the most talented asian female wrestlers on the planet. Wake up @wwe and stop wasting all of them. Utilize their talent!”

The Kabuki Warriors did not win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on Monday night, as Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross walked away with the gold.

Although The Kabuki Warriors have been in the title hunt as of late, they haven’t been used consistently on SmackDown over the last few months.

Do you think WWE should do more with them? Sound off in the comments below.
