FTR Shares Update On CM Punk Possibly Feuding With The Elite

Last year CM Punk got the wrestling world talking when he took some shots at certain people on the AEW roster during the post-show press conference following the All Out pay-per-view. Punk was then involved in a backstage brawl with The Elite, and there was a lot of speculation regarding what would happen in the months that followed, but Punk and The Elite have all since returned to AEW.

While Punk was away from All Elite Wrestling there were many fans calling for him to feud with The Elite upon his return, and while it hasn’t happened yet current AEW Tag Team Champions FTR recently indicated during an interview with DAZN that they’re still hopeful things will change.

Harwood: “I think if the cards fall in the right place and you know, the story’s right and the opportunity calls for it, then hell yeah. We can do it (CMFTR vs. The Elite).”

Wheeler: “It’s hard to know with all the moving parts that are involved and I don’t wanna speak for anybody, but I think wrestling is all about making the most money for yourselves and for the company you work for and I think that everybody here all agrees with that and the more time passes, the more likely I think it is that we can get to there but, you never really know and I don’t wanna say yes but, I hope so.”
