Fox Reportedly Wants To Make Big Changes To WWE SmackDown Live

SmackDown Live recently aired its 1000th episode, and it featured many big names from the past.

Currently SmackDown airs on the USA network, but next year the blue brand will be making the jump to Fox.

It looks like Fox could be making big changes to the show, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that network officials want SmackDown to be more of a sports show with less comedy.

SmackDown is set to be part of a sports block with will run Thursday through Sunday.

Vince McMahon is said to be more into the comedy presentation, but the network is looking to have their sports people on different shows to promote the block, which is why they want SmackDown to be more athletically oriented.
