The live audience is a vital part of the presentation when it comes to a professional wrestling show, but so far WrestleMania 37 has been the only WWE event with fans in attendance since the start of the pandemic.
It’s been rumored that WWE is making plans to bring live crowds back, and now WrestleVotes is reporting that in recent weeks FOX has privately pushed for the return of live crowds as well.
It was also noted that the network has been actively seeking updates on a possible timeline in regards to when fans could return.
FOX reportedly wants their “billion dollar investment” to be on the same playing field as other big sports brands like MLB, NHL and others.
It was recently reported that WWE officials are discussing the idea of having fans in attendance for SmackDown on July 16th, Money in the Bank on July 18th, and Monday Night Raw on July 19th, but the company has yet to confirm those plans.
