Fox Deal And Saudi Arabia Event Creates Scheduling Conflict For WWE

WWE SmackDown Live currently airs every Tuesday night on USA Network, but in the fall the show will be moving to Fox, and it’s set to air on Friday nights.

This could present a potential problem for WWE, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes how Saudi Arabia has asked for their events to take place on Fridays, and the next event is reportedly scheduled for November 1.

WWE is also listing an episode of SmackDown Live on Fox for Friday, November 1 which is set to take place in Newark, New Jersey.

With two shows currently scheduled WWE will either have to use split crews, or change the date for the event in Saudi Arabia at King Saad University Stadium in Riyadh.

As of this writing WWE has yet to officially announce their next event in Saudi Arabia.
