There’s a plethora of talent down in NXT right now, and in recent weeks it seems that WWE officials have been evaluating some of the brand’s top stars before TV tapings.
Now PWInsider is reporting that Io Shirai, LA Knight, Roderick Strong, and Dakota Kai are set to be at the Friday Night SmackDown tapings in Kansas City this week.
It was also noted that if Io Shirai does indeed end up wrestling at the tapings it will be the first time she’s wrestled at a main roster event since her appearance in the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble match.
Roderick Strong and LA Knight have been at recent WWE TV tapings, and Dakota Kai last worked dark matches at WWE TV tapings back in November of 2021. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
