In the world of WWE Vince McMahon is the person that talents need to impress if they want to make it to the top, and in recent weeks up and comer Austin Theory has found himself wrapped up in a storyline with the Chairman of the Board.
The storyline has seen Austin Theory get a lot of TV time, and he even received a shot at Big E’s WWE Championship on Raw a few weeks ago. However, last week on Raw Vince McMahon slapped Theory across the face, and everyone seems to have an opinion on the slap heard around the world.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo discussed the Vince McMahon/Austin Theory storyline with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Dr. Chris Featherstone, and he made it clear that he thinks Theory has already been buried.
“He looks like Vince’s little… you know what. Vince is insulting him the entire night and it ends with Vince slapping him right across the face. Bro, I don’t care where they go from here. You’ve already buried the guy. I don’t know why any of that went down that way.”
