Former WWE Writer Rips On Current Superstar

The writers of WWE may not be as famous as the Superstars who appear on camera each and every week, but there have been many writers throughout history who have had a big impact on the direction of the business. Brian Gewirtz is someone who helped to create some of Raw’s most memorable segments, and he recently took to Twitter to reflect on some of his favorite moments. He also decided to take a little shot at The Miz in the process.

The Miz is never one to be shy, so he responded by pointing out that he managed to become Rolling Stone’s Superstar of the Year after Gewirtz left the company.

Gewirtz of course didn’t let that one go, as he responded by taking a jab at The Marine films which are produced by WWE Studios.

The Miz is often on the receiving end of insults on social media, but tonight he’ll get his chance to prove all his haters wrong when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental Championship on Raw.
