In the world of professional wrestling a lot of crazy ideas are pitched from time to time, but that doesn’t mean all of them will end up making it to TV. Recently it was reported that WWE is discussing the idea of The Rock winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz commented on the report on Twitter and he noted that at one point the idea of having Kaval be revealed as The Undertaker’s long lost son was discussed.
“Things ‘discussed’ in my time at wwe: Vince having midlife crisis, growing beard, wearing Hawaiian shirts and singing Black Eyed Peas songs, Kaval being Undertakers secret long lost son, Cena losing to Bray Wyatt via singing possessed child… wait, that one actually happened.”
However, Gewirtz later clarified that even though the idea was brought up it wasn’t discussed for long.
Following his match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36, The Undertaker announced his retirement from in-ring competition. Taker is no longer an active wrestler, but he is still involved with the wrestling world as he’s been putting on his 1 Deadman Show in recent months.
