The Undertaker made his big return on Raw last night and many fans were hoping to get answers in regards to why he would agree to fight Shane McMahon at Mania. Unfortunately The Undertaker only said a few sentences before walking away and he didn’t give us any insight beyond saying Shane’s blood will be on Vince’s hands.
Many fans weren’t happy about the lack of explanation and former WWE writer Andrew Goldstein voiced his opinion on the angle as well. He compared the angle to a long Donald Trump speech and says it’s getting dangerously close to Nash/Punk territory. Ouch, that’s harsh.
You can see what else he had to say below.
Sure, WWE definitely could be doing a better job at explaining what’s going on here. But to their credit, there’s still a few weeks to go until WrestleMania 32 and a lot could happen between now and then.
We won’t consider this thing Nash/Punk bad until Taker comes out and reveals to the world that he texted himself from Vince McMahon’s cellphone to setup the match. Then we will abandon all hope.
