Former WWE Women’s Champion Says She Doesn’t Give A Damn About Evolution

Sunday night Evolution is set to air live on the WWE Network, and wrestling fans can expect to see quite a few names from the past in action during WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view. But one name fans won’t be seeing is former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz, as she recently confirmed that she will not be appearing at the pay-per-view.

The former WWE Superstar shared her thoughts on Evolution on the Duke Loves Rasslin’ podcast, and she said she’s happy WWE is giving women a platform to showcase her abilities, but she’s focused on other things right now.

“I don’t give a damn about their Evolution because as the NWA Women’s Champion I’m creating my own Evolution. It’s about me,” said Jazz via Wrestling Inc.

Even though Jazz won’t be at Evolution, she did tease a possible mixed tag match featuring her and Rodney Mack against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

“What I’m interested in is doing mixed tags. I’m really pulling for someone to book Rodney and myself as a tag team. You can say whatever you want but we really are the power couple when it comes to wrestling in this industry. I’m talking about my husband Rodney Mack okay? We are pound-for-pound the baddest dogs around and we claim it! If Stephanie McMahon and Triple H want a match just let me know, do I sign a piece of paper or just show up with my gear? You think I would back down from that? Stephanie? Oh my God; PLEASE!”
