Former WWE Title Holder Portrays Zombie At WrestleMania Backlash

On Sunday night the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view aired on WWE Network and Peacock, and Damian Priest faced off against The Miz in a Zombie Lumberjack Match.

Zombies swarmed the ringside area, and at one point Priest and Miz had to fight them off on the outside. It was Damian Priest who got the victory when it was all said and done, and after the match came to a conclusion the zombies seemingly devoured The Miz.

People in the wrestling community have been talking a lot about the zombies over the last few days, and it turns out that former WWE Tag Team Champion Scotty 2 Hotty was one of the zombies.

Scotty 2 Hotty currently works as a coach at the WWE Performance Center as well as a producer in NXT. WWE used the zombies as a way to promote Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” which features former WWE Champion Dave Bautista.

Jason Baker of Callousum Studios also noted that they were the ones behind creating the zombies.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
