Throughout WWE fans have seen the company release a number of Superstars, and a few weeks ago Scotty 2 Hotty publicly announced that he had requested his release from the company.
Scotty 2 Hotty had been working as a coach and producer in NXT, but now it seems that he’s setting off on a new path, and he’s made it clear that he intends to return to in-ring competition in 2022.
The former WWE star recently shared a photo of himself alongside Rikishi who he won the WWE Tag Team Titles with, and he teased a potential return for the team when he noted that he’s ready for 2022.
It seems that AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR are ready to face Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi as Cash Wheeler responded to Scotty’s tweet with a reply saying, “We’ll pull up on Too Cool, too.”
Whether or not we’ll see Too Cool back in action next year remains to be seen, but Scotty 2 Hotty recently released a list of wrestling goals for 2022. Stay tuned for updates.
