In the world of professional wrestling a good tag team name can go a long way, but from time to time teams change their name for one reason or another. The Viking Raiders have had an interesting run with WWE so far as they debuted in NXT as the War Raiders, then their name was changed to the Viking Experience when they got called up to the main roster and shortly after they started using the Viking Raiders name.
WrestleVotes Radio believes that the Viking Raiders will be changing their name back to the War Raiders. It was noted that they are both ready to return to the WWE main roster, and the person in charge who wasn’t a big fan of the War Raiders name is now out of the way.
Erik of the Viking Raiders has been out of action since September of last year and he announced in November of 2023 that he had undergone neck fusion surgery. Back in May, Ivar posted a tweet noting that he was dealing with a “very serious” injury.
WWE seemingly started teasing the return of the former Raw Tag Team Champions earlier this week when the company posted the following teaser:
