Fans have seen quite a few names part ways with WWE this year due to releases, and a few weeks ago former Tag Team Champion Scotty 2 Hotty issued a statement announcing that he had requested to be released.
Scotty had been working as a producer and coach in NXT since 2016, and in his statement he noted that he promised he would walk away from his job if he was just doing it for the paycheck. Now Scotty 2 Hotty has followed up by releasing a list of his goals for 2022, and he also informed the wrestling world that his non-compete ends on December 23.
In his list he revealed that he wants to wrestle in Mexico, wrestle in Japan, wrestle in front of his kids, wrestle in the UK, wrestle on national television, and he also wrote the words “have fun” several times on the list. Scotty shared his list on Twitter along with the following caption:
“My non compete with WWE ends Dec. 23. Here are my top 10 goals for 2022. It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks, filled with so many positive texts, comments, and phone calls. It has been overwhelming awesome and I can’t thank you all enough. Can’t wait to see you all in 2022.”
