UPDATE: Fox News issued the following: ““While we are not at liberty to discuss the details of any employee matter, we follow strict protocols when matters such as these are brought to our attention, and we make no exceptions. The process works because of the extensive systems and measures we have instituted. This situation was independently investigated and we consider the matter resolved. We respect the confidentiality of all involved.”
Tyrus, formerly known as Brodus Clay in WWE, has made a name for himself working as a host on the Fox Nation show “Un-PC” but he has been removed from the show.
According to The Daily Beast, Tyrus was kicked off “Un-PC” after he allegedly sent co-host Britt McHenry lewd and unsolicited text messages which featured sexual comments.
Fox News officials were reportedly aware of the harassment complaints against Tyrus. Following his removal from “Un-PC” he has been given his own new show called “NUFFSAID.”
Two sources who worked at Fox News told TDB that Tyrus was the type of person who would regularly make “politically incorrect” jokes, so it’s being said that Britt McHenry’s complaint to management wasn’t surprising. One current female Fox employee reportedly said, “He’s got a wild sense of humor, if we’re being generous.”
Neither Tyrus nor Britt McHenry have publicly commented on the allegations as of this writing.
