A few years ago WWE decided to bring the cruiserweight division back, and it wasn’t long before the cruiserweights had their own show in the form of 205 Live.
205 Live hasn’t exactly been WWE’s most popular show, and it’s been rumored over the last few years that the show could get canceled.
During a recent Q&A with Chris Van Vliet Enzo Amore claimed that Vince McMahon was going to cancel 205 Live, and that’s when he suggested that he join the brand.
“We were at a point in time where they were going to cancel 205 Live and I stepped in and told Vince that I wanted to work with Neville so that he could get the opportunity to get back onto the main roster and stop carrying his workload.”
Enzo Amore did find success while working with the brand, but Neville walked out of the company shortly after dropping the Cruiserweight Championship to Enzo. He’s currently working as PAC in AEW.
