Former WWE Superstar Booked For WrestleMania Weekend

WrestleMania 33 is quickly approaching, and it looks like we’ll be seeing quite a few stars from the past. Goldberg will be heading into the big event as the Universal Champion, and now it’s being reported that a former WWE Divas Champion has been booked for WrestleMania weekend.

PWInsider reports that Eve Torres is being brought in for WrestleMania weekend, but as of right now her role is unknown.

For months now reports have been circulating claiming that WWE has been contacting former female stars for WrestleMania, and Kelly Kelly confirmed weeks ago that she will be part of WrestleMania Axxess. But that’s not all, Kelly Kelly also claimed that she will be a part of WrestleMania.

It remains to be seen if Eve Torres will be part of the big event on April 2nd, but it’s worth noting that the SmackDown Women’s Championship match seems wide open for surprise appearances.

Eve Torres is a former 3 time WWE Divas Champion and she parted ways with WWE in 2012. She later returned for a one off appearance at the Slammy Awards in 2013 where she presented the Diva of the Year award to The Bella Twins.

There’s a lot of speculation that we could be seeing some surprise entrants in the SmackDown Women’s Title match, and many fans are hoping that current NXT Women’s Champion Asuka will be making an appearance.

Would you like to see Eve Torres enter the SmackDown Women’s Title match at Mania? Sound off in the comments below.
