You never know who might be backstage when you attend a professional wrestling event, as the talents on WWE’s roster are often visited by friends on the road, and a former TNA/WWE star met up with Bobby Roode at the recent live event in Saginaw. Roode gave Monty Brown a shout out on Twitter, and praised him as being one of the nicest
Monty Brown wrestled in TNA from 2002 to 2006, and he went on to sign with WWE later that year, then debuted with the ECW brand in 2007 as Marcus Cor Von.
At WrestleMania 23 he teamed with Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn, Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker to face Rob Van Dam, Sabu, The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer, but they were defeated.
Marcus Cor Von ended up taking several months off in 2007 then he was released from his contract later that year and he quietly retired.
