Tonight the stars of Impact Wrestling are hard at working delivering an action packed show at the TV tapings in New York City, and a familiar face is reportedly backstage.
According to PWInsider, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP is backstage at the Impact Wrestling tapings and he’s set to return to the company tonight.
TJ Perkins is certainly no stranger to Impact Wrestling, as he worked for the company between 2004 and 2013, and he also took on the Suicide identity (which later became Manik) from 2013 to 2016.
Perkins went on to become the winner of the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Classic, and therefore the Cruiserweight Champion in 2016.
He was released from his WWE contract in February of this year.
