Over the last week the stars of All Elite Wrestling were in Australia for Grand Slam and the untelevised House Rules event. At House Rules another team joined the AEW women’s tag team division as The IInspiration made their debut.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions announced that they were All Elite, and they also defeated Frankie B and Aysha in their AEW debut match.
Fightful Select is reporting that Cassie Lee and Jess McKay have signed multi-year contracts with All Elite Wrestling. It’s being said that this had been a foregone conclusion as AEW nailed down The IInspiration nearly a month ago.
Last month The IInspiration dropped the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles to The Elegance Brand and they finished up with the company. It’s being reported that their contracts with Total Nonstop Action had been up since Bound For Glory last year, but they continued to work for the company without deals in place. It’s being said that the departure was amicable.
Sources in WWE noted that they believed The IInspiration would be All Elite Wrestling bound if they weren’t at the Royal Rumble premium live event.
