Over the last few years WWE released a number of Superstars and many of them have gone on to work for other promotions. However, some former WWE stars have taken a step back from in-ring competition such as Tyler Breeze who was released from WWE back in June of 2021.
However, it seems that Breeze’s hiatus is over as he returned to the ring at the Next Generation Wrestling event in Tennessee on Saturday night. Tyler Breeze challenged Matt Cross for the NGW Championship and it was Breeze who picked up the victory to win the gold.

This was Tyler Breeze’s first match in over two years, and he received some support from a familiar face as Xavier Woods showed up to hype up his friend.

Even though Breeze was released from WWE in 2021 it was recently reported that he’s still under contract with the company as he has a deal tied to the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.
Breeze is currently being advertised for Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland 6 event in Portland, OR on 9/1 and the company is also advertising him for their event in Los Angeles, CA on 9/24.
